How to connect Twitch and Amazon?

Amazon purchased Twitch in 2014 and while the change of ownership hasn't affected Twitch too dramatically on the surface, there have been some significant evolution to the platform with the introduction of Bits, a digital currency purchased with Amazon Payments used to make micro-donations to streamers, and Twitch Prime.

Twitch Prime is a premium membership for Twitch which links to Amazon's Amazon Prime program. Anyone with an Amazon Prime membership automatically gains a Twitch Prime subscription and the two are often used as a way to cross-promote the other.

Users with a Twitch Prime membership are given an ad-free experience on Twitch, free digital downloadable content (DLC) for select titles, video game discounts, and a free subscription which they can use on any Twitch Partner's channel as a way to support them. Twitch Prime is now available in all major regions worldwide.

But it is not yet made officially available in India and China.

In our next post, we'll see what is Amazon prime and how it helps to get free loot in twitch.

Origin of Twitch!!!

Justin.TV re-branded as Twitch in 2011 with a laser focus on only streaming video games. Now, even with the addition of Twitch IRL — or partial return to the Justin.TV roots — video-game streaming remains the most popular part of Twitch.

When it was founded in 2011, Twitch originally focused almost entirely on video games but has since expanded to include streams dedicated to artwork creation, music, talk shows, and the occasional TV series.

Twitch was purchased by Amazon in 2014 and it remains one of the highest sources of internet traffic in North America.

Nowadays, twitch is becoming No 1 streaming platform for gamer and it offers free loot and crates when connected to Amazon prime.

In your next post, we'll see how to connect twitch with Amazon.

What is Twitch?

Twitch is a live streaming video platform owned by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence), you may only use the Twitch Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.

With a sizable following you can apply for the Twitch Partner Program. That lets viewers subscribe to your channel, earning you money in the process.

Again, you'll share revenue with Twitch, but when you have subscribers you make money each month, whether or not those subscribers view videos and ads.
