Install Dot Net Framework in windows 8 using command prompt?

Hello Guys,

When installing or upgrading to windows 8, many of you could have faced that Dot Net framework missing error when trying to play games or install new software.

It can be fixed easily by this steps.

Installing Dot Net Framework in windows 8 or above is a little bit tedious process.

It can be done by using basic commands.

Press Windows key and R at the same time. Type cmd in the Run dialog box and press Enter.

Open Command Prompt as an Administrator and type as below.

Enter the following line in the Command Prompt: DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:X:\sources\sxs

In order to run this command, you’ll need to replace X with the letter that represents the drive with installation media.

After running this command, you should be able to install .NET Framework 3.5 on your PC without any problems.

How to clear Cookies and cache in Chrome browser?

I understand many people know this and it is very simple to google. 

This post may help someone who search with basic keywords.

In Chrome Browser :

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More More.
3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
6. Click Clear data.

In the Chrome app (Android):

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
2. At the top right, tap More More.
3. Tap History and then Clear browsing data.
4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
5. Next to "Cookies and site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
6. Tap Clear data.

In the Chrome app (iPhone & iPad) :

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
2. At the top right, tap More More.
3. Tap History and then Clear browsing data.
4. Make sure there’s a check mark next to "Cookies, site data" and "Cached images and files."
5. Tap Clear browsing data.

That's it. Please restart the browser completely if you're streaming video or music. It will improve quality issues. 

How to delete OS from VMware Completely.

 Hello Guys,

From our previous posts, you can see how to install OS using VMware Workstation.

In this post, you can see how to remove and delete OS completely in VMWare.

Many of us having confusion between “Remove” and “Delete from the disk”.

Remove will just remove the OS from the library but it consumes the same space which cannot be allocated for any other things.

All you have to do is to delete from the disk to save the memory for some other OS.

 Select Delete from Disk to remove the OS completely from the Disk.

Installing MAC OS in Non Apple Laptops!!

Is it even possible to install Mac OS on Normal windows Laptops? Of course it is possible. :)

But there is a Catch. There is a basic requirement which is necessary for the installation of Mac OS.

Many of us cannot afford to buy a new MAC PC or MAC BOOK. So there is an alternative by which we can use MAC OS virtually.

Requirements:

·        Processor above core i5

·        Minimum of 4GB Ram

·        VMware Workstation

·        MAC VMware image file (*.iso)

     You can download Mac OS image in any torrent sites.

Step 1: First you have to install VMware Workstation in your windows PC.

Step 2: After installing VMware you have to install VMware tools to run MAC OS

Step 3: Before installing VMware tools, you don’t have a Apple Mac OSX in the Guest List.

 Steps 4: After unlocking VMware you will get an option like screenshot given below. You can download VM tools from this link.

           Step 5 :Then we can install MAC OS VMware file which is downloaded.

           Step 6 : Just select open a virtual Machine and browse and select the downloaded file[Don’t forget to unzip downloaded OS file]

       Step 7 : After following these steps you will get a screen like this.

            Step 8 : Then click Edit virtual machine settings, you will get a following screen.

       Step 9 : Increase your Ram for 4GB for better performance.

    

     Step 10 : After that click Ok. Finally Everything is ready.

          Step 11 :Power on virtual machine. It will throw a window. Just select I COPIED IT.

     Step 12 : Then select the country as INDIA in Show All option.

     Step 13 : Select your keyboard layout as US and click next.

    Step 14 : Choose how do you connect to the internet and click continue.

       Step 15 : Choose what information to be transferred and click continue.

Step 16 :Then click on Agree software license agreement.

Step 17 : Create user account and continue.

Step 18 : Select Time Zone  as INDIA.

Step 19 : Then Click on Start using Mac.

Step 20 : MAC OS is installed successfully in our VMware Workstation

Step 21 : Enjoy using MAC OS.

Step 1: If you have purchased digital code from Amazon or other 3^rd party sites, you’ll get code in Email.

Step 2: Please have the code ready and copy it.

Step 3: In my case, I’m showing you the example for Forza Horizon 4 game code.

Step 4: Press the Start button and go to “Microsoft Store”.

Step 5: Once you’re in the store, locate the game in the store.

Step 6: Once located, click that game. You’ll see screen like the one which is shown below.

Step 7: You can see 3 Horizontal dots, next to Add to Cart option. Once you click that, you’ll get “Redeem a Code” option.

Step 8: Once you redeem a code, your game will be ready to download.

How to install VMware Workstation in PC or Laptop?

5055 Error in Streaming Video

Some of you have faced this issue when streaming video with Amazon. Main reason behind this is Amazon works based on IP address. 

When you try to stream any video, Amazon will check for your Geographical location and if you have payment card and billing address in your current location, this error (5055) will be resolved.

If you have payment card and billing address correctly, please try to clear data for video apps:

Clearing application data can also help resolve intermittent playback issues with apps you use to stream movies and TV shows on your Fire TV device.

1.       Select Settings from the Fire TV menu.

2.       Select Applications > Manage Installed Applications.

3.       Select the application you're having trouble with.

4.       Select Force Stop, and then select Clear Data.

5.       When prompted to Delete App Data, select Clear Data again.

6.       Restart your Fire TV device. Disconnect the power cord, and then plug it back in.

Another Major reason for this error is, if you have purchased device (FireTV or FireTV Stick) from Major market place such as US, UK, IN, it will work only within the purchased regions. You can check this in product description.
